After Class Chalet

had my class gathering chalet over last 3 days
it's raining cats & dogs for the 2 nights!
what the crap!
BBQed under the rain for 1st night
think the food tasted more like being boiled
all thanks to the rain
become smarter for 2nd night
used a discard plank plus stool as BBQ stand
thankfully didn't burn the stool
else I'll be compensating CostaSand already
I bet it's not going to be cheap either
anyway
had great fun for this chalet
2 nights of movie marathon using projector
other than the not-so-good quality
still able to engage them together
hence the fun I reckon

Computers, computers & computers!

went to church today
to continue with my CISS
decide to give up and buy new printer
bought the Epson 230 @ $200
w/ adobe photoshop elements 4.0
nothing fantastic
but it's a useful software to me
can use it for basic editing of pictures

went back to church to try the system
but it's not doing well
couldn't operate properly
even leaked !
felt so despair cause we thought it could work
but I'll admit it's my 1st time trying CISS
used to support Genuine Ink Cartridges
but no Genuine Ink for Sublimation Ink Printing
decided to call for help
remember the client whom I've dealt with
he plays around with CISS
dropped him an email
pray hard that he's willing to advise me

left everything as it is and headed home
nothing much left anyway

came home and set-up my network stuffs
got the new D-Link Router
and storage adapter thing
finally got it up and partially running

Hectic Day

my aunt had her eye op today
got my dad to accompany her there
got few clients to meet
hence not feasible to rush around

anyway, supposed to meet crys for breakfast
apparently I overslept
woke up too late
not the first time it happened
felt so bad

have a appointment to install new air-con
finally got mine after so many days
the days of tortures ={

got to clean up my room after the installation
all the mess and dust
and to push back my furnitures!

ended up late for my appointment
initially arrange for 2pm
delay to 2.30pm
and ended up at 3.15pm
meet 2 clients at just 25m apart in Bishan

delivered to this client's place
he asked me to do printer demostration
especially on CD Printing
so I stayed and guide him with the software
took me around 2hours or so
chatted about printers & electronics
his hobby is to play with printers functions
he bought plenty of CISS
(Continuous Ink Supplying System)
weird and expensive hobby
but well, each to his own I guess
he gave me a lift to the MRT station

I took the bus from the opp to Seng Kang
realised I didn't bring out my EZ-Link
headed home to pick it up
meet cryssie at CP
went to buy FA cookies
headed down to SGH while she went off

reached my aunt's ward at around 8pm
rather late in fact
sat and chatted for about 45min
took my leave and let her rest
with thanks to God that she's fine!
Praise God

didn't feel like heading home
took the train down to VivoCity instead
it's rather crowded at about 9.20pm
wasn't that surprised
always the norm for new shopping malls
strolled around the mall
went to E-Zone, Daiso & Giant
bought only Bravissimo Gelato while leaving
that's my only purchase

left home near 10pm
think I reached home around 11pm
or so I guess
Pasar Malam @ Hougang
same old stuffs, same old stores
sheer boredom !!!

NHM Opening Festival

woot !
11.59pm now
few more strokes to a new day
I'm feeling rather drained now
just kinda settled down
was @ NHM for their opening festival

reported 'work' @ 12plus
1st thing is to do the table cards
for the seating arrangements
continued with doing some press kits
and to tie ribbons for door gifts
and we ran out of ribbons
gotta rushed to spot light to get them
only got enough for 40 sets or so

(fast forwards to more interesting stuffs)

the ushering was rather easy
maybe cause it's not my first time
experiences does helps
went to the atrium area after 9pm
helped myself to the buffet
scallops, sashimi, fine cheese
still some more in fact
but these shall be the highlights
tried the chardonnay & merlot wine
taste so horrible
just a normal grade of wine

Random Updates

Updates:
SITEX ended on 3rd Dec
pretty good sales exp that I had
was working for Harvey Norman
retailing laptops / desktops
had a bunch of great salesperson
managed to close 15 deals myself
whereas they give me other sales
just by helping them to set-up the system
well, not an easy job
takes 30mins per set =(
gauge from the way I'm setting up
probably close to 50 sets
my basic alone is $175 (3 1/2 Day)
not bad isn't it?
=P

am helping out at National History Museum
for the re-opening ceremony
that's tomorrow
spent 9hrs in the Museum today
busy preparing the press kits
thankfully for the breakfast I had
Big Breakfast (minus a chunk of egg)
*stares at crys*
anyway
with all the hardwork
I still enjoying today's activities
great experiences for me =)
